چکیده
The nanostructures synthesized using the green chemistry method have recently attracted attention of scientists due to their significance in many scientific domains. This work provides an overview biosynthesis zinc oxide (ZnO) nanosheets (NSs) Phyllanthus emblica plant (PEP) extract. X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD), photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) were used analyze ZnO-NSs. Evaluation antibacterial activity biosynthesized ZnO-NSs was performed. exhibit effective against Gram-positive (S. pyogenes S. aureus) Gram-negative typhi E. coli) bacterial strains. is most sensitive microbe towards formed a 21 mm zone inhibition (ZOI). are also tested as photocatalyst degradation methyl orange (MO) rhodamine B (RB). rate MO 90%, RB 96% after being exposed UV light for 120 min. as-synthesized exhibited selective dye showed relatively better photocatalytic positively charged (cationic) dyes. could lead fabrication high-yield photocatalysts, which potential degrade textile dyes from aqueous solution.

Biologically Green Synthesis of High-quality Silver Nanoparticles Using Scrophularia striata Boiss Plant Extract and Verifying Their Antibacterial Activities
In the present work, we demonstrate a facile way to study the biosynthesis of silver nanoparticles (Ag-NPs) with strong bactericidal properties using an aqueous extract of Scrophularia striata Boiss. The bio-reduction of Ag+ ions resulted in FCC cubic structures of Ag-NPs with spherical shapes of about 16 nm. As a main aim of the present work, the antibacterial activity of the bio-synthesized A...
متن کاملPhotocatalytic Degradation and COD Removal for Indigo Carmine Dye Using aqueous Suspension of Zinc Oxide
This paper reports on photocatalytic decolorization of a hazardous indigo carmine dye solution. The photocatalytic decolorization was carried out in the presence of the catalyst ZnO. The effect of catalyst dose, pH and initial dye concentration on the degradation process has been assessed. The aqueous dye solution was degraded in a photochemical reactor in the presence of UV light (365nm) along...
متن کاملExceedingly biocompatible and thin-layered reduced graphene oxide nanosheets using an eco-friendly mushroom extract strategy
PURPOSE A simple, one-pot strategy was used to synthesize reduced graphene oxide (RGO) nanosheets by utilizing an easily available over-the-counter medicinal and edible mushroom, Ganoderma lucidum. METHODS The mushroom was boiled in hot water to liberate the polysaccharides, the extract of which was then used directly for the reduction of graphene oxide. The abundance of polysaccharides prese...
متن کاملOptical and Antibacterial Studies of Zinc Magnesium Oxide Nanocomposite
Through the microwave assisted fast synthesis method, Zinc Magnesium Oxide nanocomposite was prepared. Zinc Magnesium Oxide nanocomposite heated at 500oC was used for further structural, optical and antibacterial studies. The Debye Scherrer equation was used to calculate the average particle size of the nanocomposite. The optical characterization of the oxide nanocomposite was carried out by UV...
